June 8-12th: Creating the Right Relationship – Releasing Shame and Enlivening Sexuality – Summer Retreat with Alexis Johnson, Ph.D.
June 8-12, 2011
In the intimacy and quiet of my home and gardens 40 miles north of NYC, we will create the necessary safety and presence to explore issues that hold us back from our full sense of aliveness and well-being. We will practice slowing down in many ways, finding the quiet within and between in the form of group process, meditation, communal lunch, time to write and draw.
Shame and stress live in our body-mind and need to be attended to in many different ways. It is helpful to have a theoretical understanding of what these are and how they live in us and affect us. We need to understand and share our particular shames and stresses, we need to hold ourselves and each other in our heart-mind to soften shame and stress and we need to transform shame and stress into our unique strengths.
This retreat is limited to 12 so please register early if you want to join this living -learning community. Tuition $1000
